René Van Oostrum

René is a Principal Member of Technical Staff (PMTS), Software Development Engineer at AMD Research. He obtained a PhD in Computer Science from Utrecht University and has a background in algorithm design and analysis. During the past decade, he’s focused on GPU code implementation and performance tuning. He currently works on performance analysis tools for HPC workloads on AMD GPUs.
