Alessandro Fanfarillo

Alessandro is a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) at AMD who focuses on performance engineering for high-performance computing (HPC). He is part of the Frontier Center of Excellence team and his work is devoted to the optimization of scientific codes for AMD’s hardware. Alessandro’s research interests include HPC; Bayesian inference; and reinforcement learning (RL), machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence(AI). He received his PhD in Computer Science and Control with a focus on exascale computing from the University of Rome (Tor Vergata).
