Damon Mcdougall#
Damon is a Principal Engineer in the Data Center GPU Solutions and Performance Analysis group at AMD. He obtained a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Warwick. Following his doctorate, he spent six years as a researcher at the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences, and at the Texas Advanced Computing Center. At AMD, Damon spends his time as part of the Frontier Center of Excellence team optimizing scientific codes for AMD’s CPUs and GPUs at exascale. His professional interests include high-performance computing (HPC), large-scale systems, uncertainty quantification, statistical computing, and scientific software development.
