Mahdieh Ghazimirsaeed

Mahdieh is a Member of Technical Staff (MTS), Software System Design Engineer in the Data Center GPU Solutions and Performance Analysis group. She works on the optimization of scientific codes for AMD’s hardware. Mahdieh has a PhD in Computer Engineering from Queen’s University (Canada), where she published several papers on the development of communication libraries. Before joining AMD, she was a postdoctoral researcher at The Ohio State University where she worked on the design and development of the MVAPICH2 software package. Mahdieh’s research interests include high-performance computing (HPC), heterogeneous and accelerated computing, and machine learning (ML).
