Cheng Ling

Cheng Ling is a Product Marketing Manager in the Artificial Intelligence group at AMD, where he specializes in optimizing GPU kernel performance for the operators of large language models and benchmarking model performance. He holds a PhD’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh in UK. His interest lies in tweaking ML models and extracting benchmark data on different ML frameworks and libraries. Before joining AMD, he worked as an Associate Professor teaching composition principles of computers and CPU-GPU heterogeneous computing at the school of computer science and technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
