Grant Pinkert#
Grant Pinkert is a Member of Technical Staff at AMD, specializing in GPU-accelerated software and distributed computing. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Auburn University and a Master of Software Engineering from the University of Sydney. Before joining AMD, Grant gained international experience across the defense and industrial engineering sectors in the United States and Norway, developing a strong foundation in high-performance and systems-level programming using modern C++.
At AMD, Grant contributes to the advancement of the ROCm software ecosystem through open-source projects such as RCCL, ROCn-DS, and CuPy. His work focuses on improving performance, scalability, and developer experience across AMD’s GPU platforms, with a particular emphasis on maintainable code and cross-library interoperability.
