Aditya Kumar Singh

Aditya Singh is an AI enthusiast with a strong focus on multimodal learning, statistical machine learning, and video analysis. He is currently at AMD, where he collaborates with world-class researchers to develop AMD’s in-house Vision-Language foundational model. Before joining AMD, Singh was at Microsoft Research, where he worked with the M365 team on root-cause analysis of Azure incidents and co-authored a paper on the subject. His academic journey includes a stint as a graduate research student at IIIT Hyderabad, where he worked under Prof. Makarand Tapaswi in the KathaAI lab. There, he focused on emotion recognition and summarization tasks for movies and TV shows, achievements that were recognized with two CVPR papers. Singh holds an Integrated Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics from IISER Kolkata, where he maintained an excellent academic record
