Aleksandr Suslov#
Aleksandr Suslov is a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) at AMD, where he specializes in optimizing training and inference for large-scale AI and computer vision workloads. His current work focuses on applying low-precision techniques to unlock maximum performance across modern AI architectures. Before joining AMD, Aleksandr was the Software Architect for the Neural Network Compression Framework (NNCF), leading its integration into the PyTorch and OpenVINO ecosystems. His career began at Itseez —the startup that served as the primary developer of OpenCV—where he spent years developing high-performance computer vision stacks and ADAS algorithms prior to the company’s acquisition by Intel.
