Mingyu Yang is an MTS Software Engineer at AMD, where he focuses on accelerating LLM training/inference and designing efficient LLM architectures. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 2025, with his doctoral research covering multi-modal efficiency, dynamic neural networks, diffusion models, and semantic communications.
