Sonali Singh is a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) Software Development Engineer at AMD (RAD) Research and Advanced Development where she studies HPC and LLM performance bottlenecks on AMD hardware with a focus on Instinct architectures. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. During her Ph.D., Sonali focused on Neuromorphic Computing algorithms and architecture co-design that involved designing efficient neuromorphic architectures without compromising on the accuracy of SNNs (Spiking Neural Networks), one of the popular workloads of interest in the domain. She has also worked on designing efficient custom accelerators for ML (Machine Learning) and DNN (Deep Neural Networks). Her research interests include computer architecture and algorithm co-design for ML and HPC applications.
