James E. T. Smith#
James is a software engineer with extensive experience in high-performance computing, quantum chemistry, and machine learning, specializing in C/C++ and Python development with over a decade of software engineering experience. He has made significant contributions to open-source projects including quantum chemistry packages and LLVM’s libc++ standard library implementation, while also developing novel algorithms for both research and commercial applications. Currently, he enables and optimizes open source AI projects for AMD’s GPU hardware.
