Kenny Roche#
Kenneth Roche is a Principal Member of the Technical Staff in the AI Group at AMD, and affiliate faculty at the University of Washington. He joined AMD last year after 20 years as a computer scientist for the U.S. government at both Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. In 2025, he was a co-recipient of the US Department of Energy Secretary’s Honor Award as a member of the Exascale Computing Project (ECP) Leadership Team that led the design and deployment of the first exascale supercomputer. He lives in Seattle, Washington.
