Sean Miller

Sean is a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS), Software System Design Engineer in AMD’s Data Center GPU Solutions and Performance Analysis group. He received his PhD from the University of Washington, where he focused on computational plasma physics for fusion energy applications. Sean continued his research at Sandia National Laboratories where he developed high-energy density physics modeling tools. He now supports the porting and optimization of scientific software for AMD GPU-accelerated HPC environments.
