Carson Liao

Carson Liao is a Senior Manager at AMD, where he initiated the creation of hipBLASLt and hipSPARSELt, and currently leads the team overseeing their ongoing development. He specializes in designing and optimizing GEMM kernels and widely used AI operators across multiple generations of CDNA and RDNA GPU architectures. Carson earned his MS and BS degree in Computer Science from National Taiwan University.
