Ish Kool

Ish is a Systems Engineer with strong C/C++ expertise and a passion for building high-performance systems across embedded platforms, communication systems, and compute acceleration. At AMD, he is working on scaling the ROCm AI/ML software ecosystem for Instinct GPUs, focusing on performance-critical libraries and compiler flows. Previously at Qualcomm, he developed 5G PHY layer solutions for Sub-6 GHz and mmWave targeting Open-RAN and automotive platforms, and later went on to build hardware-accelerated vector search engines on FPGAs at a startup. He brings a unique skillset that blends signal processing with custom compute design.
