Xiaodong Yu

Xiaodong Yu is a Research Scientist of GenAI team at AMD. His research focuses on LLM pre-training/post-training, retrieval and faithfulness of knowledge, long-context understanding, and mathematical reasoning. He earned his PhD from the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, he completed his master’s degree at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He did research interns at Microsoft Research, Amazon and Salesforce Research.
